Yeah, single is the shit if you're in your late teens and early 20's. I think people need to grow up. I think being single will affect your career too and the other people perceptions about you.

I was seriously burned in my younger days. Shattered me almost.

So any girlfriend since then has always been kept at arms length (emotionally).

I have been in a relationship with a great girl (whom I kinda love) for 3 years now and I have noticed, that whenever we have a fight, I am like screw this shit, I don't care, I am outta here and she comes right back to me.

I still think that if one can find a true partner, he/she would be better off. The only question is that whether there is such a thing as a true partner and related to that whether monogamy works and love exists. I guess love and monogamy do not have to coexist for some, but I think it would be safe to say that for the majority they both need to exists for relationships to work.
