Forex mentoring ?

Hey guys, so to keep it short, I'm 19, work a great summer job which keeps me above 5 digits often, and I do great in school, on pre-med track, but have a passion for trades. I'm wondering if anyone is, or knows a great forex mentor ? I really want to experience the trading world, and am honestly confident I can keep up. If anyone has any intel please go ahead and post or PM me. Thanks !

I used to trade currencies for a little bit... I spent many nights with my laptop open next to me and waking up every few hours to check on things. May I ask why you're interested in forex specifically? Unless you're talking derivatives, it tends to require a lot of capital or a lot of margin to really make money. I'm not the most experienced, however, so maybe someone can contribute more insight there.

Forex is honestly just one idea, with ease of access for people not trading an arm or leg.

Then I would suggest options. You can make more on less, although naturally you can lose more as well.

I use OptionsHouse as a brokerage and I know they periodically do webinars. There's a LOT of free information on the internet. If you are truly interested, you can learn a good amount on your own. If you want someone to sit down and hold your hand while they teach you their tips and tricks, well, I'm not sure it exists, and if it does it's probably not very good and horrendously overpriced. There's a stock market thread here as well.

How do you like OptionsHouse?

I'm thinking of switching to them. I currently use Etrade but they are pricey for options.

I like them well enough. A few months back they did a merger and updated their platform, which I now find much less intuitive, but once you learn it I think they're really pretty decent considering the price (which is why I picked them). Worth a shot, I'd say.

dough.com ?

It's like a mini options boot camp with the ability to track active trades from different "experts"
