Everything is as good as it can be given the hell 2020 has leashed upon us. In all fairness, aside from being in a mask for 10+ hours a day, my life is nothing short of amazing. I'm truly a blessed, lucky or the effort I put in is paying off type situation. How is the house coming along? Are you still chipping away at it? Kids still alive?

24/32 windows done, yet an other fireplace done, and I'm about 27k over my original budget yet still 110k below my "realistic estimate" .

Our youngest had a friend over a few days ago. Nobody asked him but he came to me and told me the interior looks good but that the garden needs work. A day later the same kid came by again and asked if we truly lived here since he couldn't find the stairs he used the day before. (I took the old concrete one down and redid them that week. All he saw on the second time was a wood pyramid). So yeah, some work needed still...

Yeah, us finns are epic with social distancing since we are not social. Been wearing gloves and a mask now for 4 weeks since father-in-law and my son has medical issues and doctors appointments now basically daily. As their driver and caregiver, it's my job to make them feel safe.

I'm not complaining at all. For sure this covid time and home schooling has added an element to it all but it's been awesome too. People work together better now. That's awesome.

Wall still in one piece, bought a third box of condoms last night (not a fan of using them, but she's not on bc and i dont think she'd make a great single mom), still a few more days to go. Neither of us have any bruising/marks on our necks, I don't think I can say the same about her throat though

All my friends approve, maybe except the roommate that I share a wall with.

Lots and lots of shower fun, too. My god what an event. Last night we had a little wine night together at my apartment's terrace, and she facetimed her best friend. She caught on and after texted her "drunk showers are the best" so of course we had to try that.
