Q-Link was awesome! I met people from all over the country. I even scored a date with one. Unfortunately it's a story for The Dating Thread.

I almost forgot.

After reading some of these responses, I felt the same way. I mean, I'm not young (remember when microwaves became a house hold item), but damn.

How about watching the blocked "adult" cable channels thru the fuzz to occasionally get a glimpse of a side boob!

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the burning of the schools.
We have tortured all the teachers, we have broken all the rules.
We’re going to hang the principal tomorrow afternoon.
The truth goes marching on.....

I remember hearing my Dad cussing in the basement as he was trying to assemble this. My nephews have never heard of this thing.

12 ft wide Sat dish required. Do you remember having to enter codes every month to get stations like Spice?

This was in the very early 90s.We had traditional cable box from a local cable provider that no longer exists. Coming from the coaxial cable out of the wall, there was a little black box with an "A" and "B" switch. A side was local traditional channels and the B side was cable subscription channels. When the parents were away at work, we would switch it to the B side and watch some scrambled green, purple and gray side boob. So exciting to catch a glimpse, haha.

Ya, We had a similar set up but with the huge satellite dish.

We first had to locate the satellite and then input a code to unscramble the transmission. My dad would get the code every month or so by visiting the store which sold him the dish.

This was late 80's early 90's
