I answer my office line 90% of the time with "Pizza Hut." It's always someone from inside the plant. Everyone else that I do business with knows to call my cell.

When I see unknown numbers on the caller ID, I will answer with Ahoy! , ¿Digame? , or moshi moshi. The usual robodialers that pester our area seem to be keyed to start their pitch on the word hello, making it easy to screen those calls by the dead air after 3-5 seconds.....

Same here on the dead air. If I say hello, not positive on who the caller is and I get dead air, I immediately hang up.

The pain in the ass, that occupies space behind me, will answer spam calls, wait to speak to someone, then argue with them for however long it takes for the spam caller to realize that they just called the boss of all Karen's.

I have seen her attempt to call them back after they hang up on her. The first time I witnessed it, she didn't realize that the call wasn't coming from the number on her caller ID. She immediately calls the number back and raises hell with the woman who answered the phone; who obviously is not who called her to begin with. Some people should not be allowed in public without a caregiver.

Dead Air on anything but US cell phones is usually a predictive dialer which will "drop" a percentage of calls to remain efficient. Cannot dial US cell with a predictive dialer.

The main PD business line had to be rolled to a phone tree explaining "we did not call. If you would still like to speak to a dispatcher, please press 2"

Just received an SMS message from the only candidate in our County Court Judge race that hasn't spammed me yet. Needless to say, she now owes me the $0.35 that it cost me in text message fees on my no-free anything cellular plan.

Given that I now cannot vote for any candidates for this position out of principle, I was inclined to leave the column blank on my ballot. These days, I have to be concerned that someone will take advantage of the blank column and fill in a vote. So, I'm picking the write-in box, and writing in "DEEZ NUTS" just because.....

You shouldn't waste your vote like that. I wrote in my dogs in the 2 races I knew / cared nothing about. My wife did the same, so now they each have 2 votes.

Just installed but it doesn’t work if I forward mobile calls to landline. Need to find a solution for landline as I forward mobile to landline when in office and forward landline to mobile when out.
