I actually think the i3S looks bad ass. I was planning on buying a CPO, but leasing one of these might be worth it. Maybe there will be some impressive specials after the stop-sales ends. BMW might need to regain some momentum.

I'm loving mine. I had a 2014 i3 REx also, but the i3s is really a huge improvment. The suspension and traction control is greatly improved, and there's much more power especially at higher speeds.

That was an April Fools joke in poor taste.

FYI Leasing also counts this $7500 in the cap cost, when you lease not next year when you do your taxes.
Also $2000 loyalty if you're trading in a BMW.
Also $1000 OL code by entering a BMW contest for a trip to Japan.
Also $2500 cash back (in TX)
Also $1000 for joining BMWCCA for 3 years ($134 cost)

Even with my company's fleet agreement with BMW bringing another $10k discount I leased my red 2018 BEV, largely due to the crazy high 58% residual BMW puts in the calk.
In 3 years when my lease is up will buy a 2018 coming off lease for ~$20k instead of the $31k buyout my lease will have.
