I heard that also...about the book, that is.

It's also supposed to be drier than the movie, so I didn't bother trying to out do what is clearly one of the best guy movies ever made.

The book is word for word but as with most books get a little better insight. I read it second and both stand up. Same goes for true grit. Most movies I love I have also read the book. I'm a nerd sometimes.

Good to hear that the screenplay followed close to the book, but you're right about the insight/mind of each character. Can't replace that.

I'm reading this book right now...have been for the last couple trips, but it's kinda heavy reading, as most pilosophy books tend to be. Couple that with life and stuff, which accounts for the slow progress. Nevertheless, it's a good read.

I read a lot. Was in paper as a young kid for reading most books in my town over summer. Some things you can't get enough of. I'm that way with movies, beer , cars, and host of other things.
