What boots do you use in the snow?

For snowblowing, I have my 1990's Sorel Caribous.

For normal getting around when it's snowed, I have these boots that I got online from MN for $50 end of season

http://www.ems.com/sorel-mens-cold-m...FYQfHwodE4MJ9w

My buddy says the zippers are ***!

Sadly, I noticed a crack in my Caribous, and they say, "Made in Canada."

If I replace them with Caribou II's, they will be $106 online and made in China. The price is good, it depends on size, some are $150.

You cant beat pac boots and if youre in the snow for hours on end they are worth the money

I have some regular steel toe with Thinsulate, but I only deal with Cali snow, so . . . I have spent several hours with mink oil/snowproof/hair dryer, so no wet gets into the boot. I melt and run the stuff into the seams, and now they wipe off clean.

Very light boot. Keeps feet warm and dry. Only drawback, it's a pita to put them on and off

Baffin Boots - and check my location, I know a little about cold.

I bought the ones rated to negative 72...mostly b/c I didn't like the look of ones rated to negative 100.

Honestly, the lightest boot I've had (much lighter than Sorel which I also tried) and so warm

Clarks gortex boots. Simple looking, and keeps my feet warm and dry. Great boots. There actually on sale now on the Clarks website. I have the ones with the stitching that goes around the front/above your toes. There selling for $99.00, with a promo code for a additional 20% off. Great price. I would buy another pair if they had my size.

I am pretty sure if the price drops on the Caribou II's, I'll get a new pair....but they went up from the $98 price. For now, I got me a $3.xx rubber patch kit--buddy says it won't work, but we'll see!

Not a fan of these. Supposedly it's going to be mandatory Corps wide FY17 to wear only these in uniform. I'd like to stick with my Bates Lites.

If I replace them with Caribou II's, they will be $106 online and made in China. The price is good, it depends on size, some are $150.
Your friend is right. That zipper looks pretty gay to me.

Damn guys, just get a pair of work boots and call it a day. Unless you like your women thinking your a little bit fem on the inside. Then by all means, go with the shin high zip ups. haha
