Hey guys what do you guys think of this? Is it worth it?
I thought the sound of it was alright.

Only about 4Kg saved and more importantly, the sound really does not suit the i8.

I think money spent on wheels is probably better spent (unsprung weight reduction, plus grip benefits).

There is no exhaust that will help our cars sound better. It's just the nature of owning a turbo 3-cylinder. So, I'm almost always in all-electric mode in a parking lot.

That said, no regrets on gets the i8. Love it!

HRE states that stock wheels weigh about 24 lbs, whereas one of their forged wheels is under 20 lbs. 5 lbs might not sound like much, but for unsprung weight that is significant performance-wise. I will look into the super-lightweight BBS option.

But surely there must be other areas for trimming fat. I hate to go after stuff like stereo, seats, sound insulation, battery, ... on a DD.
