My P.Red has full leather, and no red cotton trimmings on the seats. Maybe it's this way for the USA.

For some unexplained reason, all US Protonic Red i8's came without the promised red trimmed seats, without the embossed headrests, and red trimmed floor mats. All we got for the $10k+ package was red paint, a few carbon fiber pieces for the dashboard, and "Protonic Red" sill plates. A major, major disappointment, and likely why very few of the cars have been sold...

It has the red trimmed floor mats dude, and by the way the carbon fiber is a $3500 opton alone. Also the red paint is a breath of fresh air...its been the same 3 colors for damn near 3 years. Also the red trimmed seats you're talking about are not FULL LEATHER. I would rather have FULL leather in my $159,000 car, and not cotton trim. Besides here in LA i get non stop compliments on how they love the red color and its the best i8 they've seen on the roads. I even had a guy in a white 2016 Mclaren pull up next to me and say how "Sick my car is and how he loves the color" And this is a city full of exotics.

Dude, to each his own. $3500 of carbon fiber doesn't equate to a $10k price hike to me. Nor does a different -albeit very nice, paint color. The interior of the car in no way compares to most of the "exotics" your city is full of. Given how many of the 100 cars sent to the US are for sale on cars.com and other sites, it would seem that US customers, at least, are not impressed, either. And by the way, dude, I passed on several exotics while waiting for the Protonic Red i8, only to pass on it once it arrived.
