My parents were hippies in the 60's & 70's, and met at Woodstock. My mom and dad never met before, but were smoking weed with a group of people during Jimi Hendrix's set, when three stoner dudes tried taking down my mom, but my dad stepped in and a fight happened. My dad got his butt handed to him, but they stopped trying to molest my mom.

The song that was playing at the time was Love Always Runs Round You Now. Acronym is larryn, which that was painted on the passenger door (mom's side) of the Dodge van we lived in, until later on in the 70's, when we got an apartment.

When I learned of the story, growing up, it really hit me hard, and since the story means so much to me, I use the song's acronym as my online handle on most websites that I'm a member of.

Or it could just be my name, I like telling stories.

Initials, since my old nickname isn't exactly appropriate and I am about as creative as a potatoe.

Wow if the 'story' you told is true then it has to be the best reasoning so far! I never knew some people go that far in thinking about their usernames and that they could in fact have such kind of meaning. And if indeed just a 'story' then don't stop telling them, it was a great read!

I thought I replied to this thread before or a similar thread but if not

GOLFFRR is my license plate, I have had the plate since my first car. I wanted GOLFER or Golfcrt but they were taken, GOLFFRR wasn't so it stuck as my user names at the various forums. Also I am golf nut

Mine's pretty self explanatory...have owned many cars, but the best by far was my 2011 M3...what a mistake selling that car.

PS: KSA, I am also Canadian, but have been in the US for the past few years. Miss my Tim Hortons!!

Haha Tim's is alright but don't worry you're not missing out on much. That being said, I am not a big coffee drinker. It's crazy how busy they are though.

I played organized soccer from age 4 through varsity ball for my college. I was on a select team named 'Xtabi' in the late 90s. At that time I used the name for online gaming too.

I've kept the name ever since.
