i8 Exterior/Interior Care?

Just got myself an i8 and was curious to know what you guys use for an exterior wash as far as soap and wax? I got griots. What about leather cleaners/conditioners?

Exclamation

I tried to load my car into my local auto car wash - and its too low of a clearance ... slowly started advancing into the bay and towards the end start hearing a tiny scraping - slowly pulled back and now looking for a new place to wash my car

I've personally been using Griots products for pretty much everything with great results.

Hand wash, mate. You can see it as a pain in the neck, or as an opportunity to appreciate the design of the car.

If you're not allowed or don't have the ability to wash at home, there are those places with self-wash bays, high-pressure systems, etc.

Agree, hand wash only, and DIY it so you know the materials and water are clean and grit free. Don't use a pressure wash either.

I like Zaino products for full wash and detailing. Mothers Spray Detailer for everyday.

Has anyone found a great glass cleaner? Windex isn't taking care of the offgas haze inside.

You want a glass cleaner that doesn't have ammonia. Adams or the like. After you have gone over the glass, wait a few and polish with a completely dry, clean micro fiber and you window will be completely clean with no streaks. If not, repeat - you didn't get it clean the first time.

For wax, the best I've found is P21S. Its shine rivals the ceramic coatings out there. Easy to work with too... Detail spray in between.
