Electric Current Draw

I implemented a mini test to see how much electric draw the home charging unit consumes .
Here's the result :
Digital electric gauge T1 before test :
411,514
After 5 Hours of plugged in E-Drive Range 0 to 15 kilometers
418,554

5 Hours later , E-Drive Battery Range increased 0 to 15 kilometers and electric draw is roughly 7 KWA
Not too much detriment to the electric bill

Before that ,I plugged it in the public Charging Unit .They have different sockets not similar to what we use at home . According to the bill, in 28 minutes it drew 1,15 kwA

Maybe an easier way to look at this: the i8 has a useful battery capacity of 5.2 kWh. So, that's the amount of energy it will draw when charging up. Maybe marginally more if one accounts for a bit of thermal loss. Where I live, that's roughly equivalent to $1.50. Not bad for 20 miles of driving; the same distance in an average gasoline-powered car would cost about three to four times as much.

in reality we can do at most 17-18 miles on full charge driving like a sloth for $1.50 and at the same same sloth mode I can do 40+mpg on 320d at $2.4/gallon , based on those numbers electric drive loosing

i8 edrive
18m - 1.50$
12m - 1.0$
vs
regular
40m - 2.4
16.6 - 1.0$

thats 40% saving on diesel

The economics may be different for each country. Over here, I pay CHF 1.50 for a liter of gasoline (about the same as a full charge from the grid), that's almost $6 for a gallon. And I get 20 miles and more out of a charge regularly, but I can certainly not drive 20 miles / 32 km on a liter of gas.

Attached is an example of my range indication - 37 km is 23 miles.
