Battery Longevity- What is normal at this point?

In my '14 BEV with 40k, I went into the service menu and checked what it had to say about the battery health. It reports 15.1. Is there a known arc of life to our batteries? With 8yr/100K warranty, I am past the halfway point if you consider 18+ as new battery strength and below 13 as the point that a warranty replacement would be considered, is my 15.1 a sign of potential failure before the 8yr/100K mark?

I don't think it's a linear degradation. I'm curious what my 2017 says. I'll check tonight.

That's good news for you though. Might get a new battery pack under warranty. Though I suspect BMW doesn't have to replace many packs.
