i8 TO R8

Hey everyone so the time has come for me to move on from i8 to R8. Still keeping the number 8 just changing the letter
I have to say that I have really enjoyed my i8 and loved driving it every day.
Message me if someone is interested in the Lexani gloss black wheels with tires. (20" wheels with 245/40 R20 front and 285/35 R20 back. They are made for i8 and can fit without any issues. Tires and wheels only have 2K miles on them.
Asking $2200 with shipping or 2k if you can pick up yourself. They will look awesome on any color i8. Almost new clean gloss black wheels with no curb rash or dings. Pics available upon request.

I'm actually going from a gen 1 R8 V10 to I8, obviously sacrificing performance but love the look, the tech, and the doors are to die for

The new R8 is amazing. I looked at one when I got my NSX. I liked the look of the NSX more but was definitely in love with the sound and performance of the R8. Enjoy it!!

I recently traded my 2011 R8 v10 for a 2015 i8. The R8 is a bad-ass car with a screaming monster v10 in back. It probably handles a bit better than the i8 but it’s also heavier.

That said, I easily prefer the i8. It has more torque. On the track, the R8 wins. The R8 is a lot more expensive to maintain. Oil changes are several hundred dollars.

They’re different animals. I love the quietness of the i8 in e-drive. Maybe I’m old but I don’t feel the need to announce my presence with a loud exhaust. I’d like to turn off the active sound in the i8 but I’m not sure how. They’re both awesome cars either way.
