For some reason I don`t like stuffed peppers

. I like peppers and rice and whatever else is mixed in the rice. I tried them a many times, but I still can`t eat them. My wife loves them and whenever she makes them, I eat something else.

Is that really a thing? We have a Mexican and Japanese takeout place here (owned/staffed by Chinese workers), and I just thought that it was a strange local tradeoff and not actually a common thing elsewhere.....

It's a HUGE market here in Los Angeles. Korean-Mexican fusion; Japanese fusion, etc. The restaurant the photos are from is: https://www.barhermanito.com

For example, this restaurant used to have a barria udon dish on their menu; the pollo karaage (which takes traditional japanese-style karaage chicken and mixes it with mexican-american citrus flavors) was out of this world!

Another good example would be the Kogi truck that has been dominating the LA food-truck scene for a while: https://kogibbq.com

Highly recommend checking out the sawtelle area in Los Angeles if you're a foodie and into this kind of fusion food!
