Where is the best place you have lived?
Seems like there are always disadvantages to a locale, but what area have you enjoyed the most?
Factors: cost of living, income, nightlife, weather, etc. I've lived in north Jersey, State College, PA, NYC, and now southern NH. State College was the best all-around, even though I hate PA. It's hard to ever dislike it except for the shitty weather at times. P.S. I'm bored at work. |

Chicago, New York, Studio City, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Chicago
If I was still in Cali, it'd be Studio City. The proximity to everything in LA is great and the real estate isn't that bad when compared to the west side, etc. That being said, I'm back in Chicago. One of the few "big cities" where you can still buy a home and drive a nice car without having to work 150 hour weeks to afford it. Good food/Good people for sure... and the architecture isn't that bad either (one thing that LA just didn't have). Of course the weather is a bit of a change from LA, but the old saying goes there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing. |

Tough question. I do love Toronto, but thats because it's where I grew up. But if I could live anywhere, with out regard to work, it would probably be Bonaire. Sadly, until I retire I'll probably need to stay in a financial center.

Currently in Portland, find it the best of the spots I've lived thus far, but considering a move to Austin, TX.

Washington, DC -> Oxnard, CA - > Santa Barbara, CA -> Oxnard, CA. UCSB was the best four-year vacation I've ever had.
