Lease programs on the 2015's carried over unchanged for June. You can still get a good deal on a '15.

Hey big guy. I leased a 2015 i8 on Saturday, 24 months/10k per year, residual 69%.

Also, bmwusa.com shows 2015 i8 lease offer now expires 6/30/16.

EDIT: I was wrong, residual is 69% for a 24/10k lease.

Last edited by emmfive; 06-16-2016 at 01:13 PM.. Reason: Corrected lease residual

No worries, go easy on the guy

These lease deals are just plain silly. I was shopping for another M5, but when I saw the lease deals people were posting here, I couldn't resist.

Contact Brett from Autohaus in MO.

Jackie was great to work with but unfortunately wasn't able to give me that great of a deal on that silver i8. Maybe they are more desperate to sell now.

Wait until the end of the month

They're usually more willing especially if they fear that the 15s won't be leaseable the following month

I was really hoping to get into one sooner, but it seems like end of the month will be the best possibility.

Just an update on quotes, got another one just now...$1600/mth with $15k down!!! LOL!

That is absolutely insane!

On some dealer sites, you can get a 2016 (36 months) for the same monthly with 6k drive off total.

2 weeks will go by quickly, just stay vigilant. But from personal experience, most dealerships will play ball at that time (end of month)just to move em.

Money factor is off

Should be .00138

They're trying to make money off of ya.

Tell them to readjust it (unless it's because your credit doesn't fall under top tier)

Also, 139 is a terrible deal for a 15. Should AT LEAST be low to mid 20s and that's being kind on your part

Just curious...i ran some numbers backwards using a lease calculator.
So if I take an MF = 0.00138, RV=64%, monthly payment of 1300, taxes 8%, 0 down, 24mths, I get a vehicle price of 104K. Does that sound right?

Too many factors. Is it tax on sales price or on just monthly payments? What is the MSRP of the car?

At a $140k MSRP, you want sales price to be around $112k assuming tax is based on monthly payment with zero down (just first month payment).

Residual changed from May? I believe my deal last month was 66%.

Get the dealership to send their calculation so we can see the break out. They can play tricks. Better sales price but increase the MF, add on misc. fees, calculate taxes incorrectly...etc. I usually go through each line on the lease calculation to make sure everything looks correct.

Thanks for the info. More complicated than I thought.
Yup, the last 2 quotes I got had a residual of 64% for a 24mth/15K lease.
I'm hoping I get some better numbers tomorrow. Got some more calls to follow up on.

There are lease calculator tools on the interwebs that will help you double check numbers. I can send you my excel sheet that calcs numbers within a few bucks, however its designed for California leases.
