I have the 2025. If its IX50 with luxury package-you get glass seat controller, shifter and dial and wood keypad and bronze titanium trim. If you chose the interior design package which has the round steering wheel, you get the glass seat controller, shifter but black keypad and gray trim

I actually like the iX. I had a 2023 as a loaner for 2 weeks and it was way nicer than I thought it would be. I liked how it drives like a BMW and not just some other electric car. I think this one looks good as well. Although actually prefer the older octagon steering wheel, I think it added a nice touch to the interior which is a great place to be as well love how roomy it feels. However I did just read an article where BMW said they want their electric cars to look the same as the ICE cars. Wonder if that’s a good thing ?

Finally an alternative to that horrible bronze trim and wood around the controller. I like it.

Yes, I double checked - for 2025 the seat memory buttons are no longer crystal, but the other usual bits are still crystal.

I love the wood. It's totally immune to fingerprints unlike the piano black.

The 360 interior views of the xDrive60 and M70 on bmwusa.com shows M Sport pedals! Finally! So, it looks like the proper M Sport pedals are finally available as part of the M Sport Professional Package which is confirmed here:

https://www.bmwblog.com/2025/01/28/2...-design-price/

“The M Sport package enhances the interior with an M leather steering wheel, a two-tone instrument panel featuring the M logo, Dark Silver trim finishers, an anthracite headliner, M pedals, and high-gloss black accents on the center console.”

Did I miss a note about the seats? They seem to have no thigh support or other adjustments as in X5 and X7.

Agree, they could have made some more interior enhancementsother than new seats and M-pedals (but they forgot the M-stiching seat belts ) . I have checked some videos and the hard plastic on the lower center console is still there, they could also have improved the door pockets with some lining. Maybe some new trim color options would have been nice? I wonder how carbon fibre would have looked?
They could also have improved the panoramic roof and the electrocromatic function with the possibility to activate segments. Yes himmicky, but for the price it could be added. Some new ambient light strips or tweaks vould have been fun as well.

But looks very good, the M70 is quite aggressive.

Why have they stopped placing wood, or any trim, on the doors? Every new bmw has basically just a basic side pannel, like an econobox

HP has no relationship with acceleration. They did not change the torque, and torque is what determines acceleration.

I don’t always like an LCI, but this is right up there with the E90’s in fixing a lot of the shortfalls in the design. There are a few things I still disagree with, but overall a good update.

The alternative is already available in 2025 models.

I like the bronze trim. Every car is a sea of black and gray plastic, at least the iX has something different optionally.

My brother just bought a 24 ixM60 with 3k miles , for 72k. It’s such a great car, I drove it the other day and was blown how nice the interior was, I don’t see a significant change. I was looking to get me one as well.

Seems this will be obsolete for lack of better words once the iX5 arrives in 2026 ?
