Even the use of a ratio for sidewall is an abomination of all things sacred and good. It totally confuses people about sidewall height. A 50-series tire on a narrow tire is a very different sidewall from a 50-series on a steam roller tire. When a car is sporting 275s, 40-series are not low profile.

This reminds me of the old A&W Third Pound burger campaign that failed because people didn't understand fractions. Know your audience...

If you take rolling resistance out of the equation, because it’s a function of the tires, then most of the efficiency for a given wheel relates to the pattern on it and how it minimizes turbulance. A disk would be the best from that perspective.

From what I read and see in the reviews/videos there is an increase of about 15 kwr or about 40+ miles in range. Other than that is just changes in the front look and the rear bottom/bumper.

The price is also dropping for the entry model.

It's not that price is dropping for the entry model, they are bringing in a new lower tier trim line that previously wasn't available in the US.

I am very happy with the iX overall and when time comes in 2 years to trade it in, I will get an other one. I will probably get an other loaded iX but not the M because I like the longer range. But will see what it will look like by then.

Definite improvement imo, the grill and new front bumper design make a big improvement.
