I took my cat on a roadtrip.
And some possums. But a dog? That's crazy talk.

I took my 75 pound dog in the i8. I put a towel down in the back and moved the passenger seat all the way forward. He just sat in one of the seats in the back. Laid down once. Quick 10 minute trip.

I take my 14 lb pup all the time with me. I don't bother putting a towel down. He's so used to riding in all my cars, h never damages them. He even has his very own i8.

Damn Twitch Massacre. Even your pup gets an i8 and, it appears, laser lights to boot. I bet he doesn't even know how to use launch control.

No dogs, but I have put other "non-friendly stuff" in the back seat. I use the back seat/trunk cover for the i3. While not designed for the i8, I use suction cup hooks on the rear and side glass for the loops. The only down side is that it blocks the woofer. But, if you have a bunch of stuff loaded back there anyway, it doesn't make much difference. The i3 cover is microfiber on one side and canvas on the other.

In all seriousness, Aye-eight is right. Once the engine warms up, the trunk can act as a warming oven for a pizza run. |

Couple more of Oz in the i8 for good measure. With his safety harness that matches my interior.

I do the same all of the time. He really prefers the i8 to the M6. He's gone about an hour in the i8 but doesn't like even 10 minutes in the M6. The Tubi is a bit aggressive for him.

I have a 60 lb dog. I take him on 300 mile trips all the time (typically once a month) in the F80 m3. I've also did that in my 996tt. I plan on doing the same in the i8

We have a 55lb Shepherd mix and he goes in the back seat. Not as convenient as the m3 but it works for now and he loves jumping out with the sill to assist.

We have a very active Husky and she rides in the back no problem. Although the two large cup holders sometimes get in her way when she wants to lie down and look into the front.

Dog in my i8
Yep, take our 48 lb Goldendoodle all the time in the i8. She rides in the back and is perfectly fine, regardless of the trip length. Bought a full seat cover that clips into the baby seat safety hooks on top/back of the seats. Then put two cushy chair pads in the seats. She rides like a queen and no fuss or muss with the car.
