Life is a journey, not a destination
Please excuse the plagiarized poetry in the title, but it seems apropos for the road trip I'm currently on. Longest trip yet in my i8, which will total over 1500 miles when it's done. Started in L.A. and went to Las Vegas, then Arches National Park, and today Monument Valley. Will move on to Zion National Park next, before returning to L.A. again through Vegas.
The first picture was taken on the approach to Monument Valley in Utah, and the other two were taken in the valley. It's been a dream trip so far with the car behaving (and looking) beautifully. The car was made for trips like this, and I hope to make it an annual tradition to take it on an extended road trip. I'm thinking the next one will be up the California coast. Hope you enjoy the pics. |

Beautiful pics. The Forrest Gump running scene location!
I drove through that area in 2000 with my 97vette. It was a 7k mile road trip from MD to CA and back. |
