Our build is now at status 150 which means a VIN was assigned and production started.

FWIW, production started (150) on mine on 7 April, and Est. Prod. Date on the Vehicle Inquiry is 6/2/22 for an approximate timeline (US)....

My SA said our production start date is still week 24 (June 5-12). Some of our orders could move up if some drop out. But most dealers will want to keep those builds in place so they have at least one iX in stock to sell. The dealers could offer to refund the deposits directly to keep the order.

FWIW: my iX 50 reached status 150 with VIN assigned on March 14. No progress since. So, be aware that things may be a bit longer than expected.

As I posted above, our iX is scheduled to begin production on week 24 (June 5-12) so I wouldn't expect any changes in status until then.

I agree. But my original production week was 11, which was then moved to week 14 (likely because of the plan closure in March when the war in Ukraine caused supply issues, namely with wiring harnesses). As of the latest update I got from my SA this week, it still says week 14, but we are now close to ending week 17.

Unfortunately in Canada, we do not have an online facility for clients. My SA, however, sends me a weekly update from his inquiry system.

My charging station is anxiously waiting in the garage...

We have a beautiful 2019 X7 so we're in no hurry. We also placed an order request for a 2023 Mercedes EQS 580 SUV that should be built this fall/winter.

I was at production begins/VIN allocated for nearly 2 months, initially it was slated for March production, ended up being built this week.
Probably 4-6 weeks to get to the east coast

Congrats! Did you get it from New Country BMW? It's a good dealership.

Where are you folks getting the numeric status codes? The “Track my BMW” site shows phrases (mine is currently out of production and “awaiting carrier assignment,”) and the Genius line also gives descriptive status.

BMW does not show the codes in the My Garage app but this site explains what each code means. Your dealer can provide you the status code your build is at.

For us Canadians, here is the manifest for the ship leaving today from Bremerhaven. 6 IX's onboard, a few of which were built after mine so hopefully mine was onboard an earlier ship.

Enter the BOL number: AEA21703

I'm not on board this one, possibly the next one. My iX exited the plant last Thursday, May 5.

Question: how did you get the BOL number ?

Here is the ship schedule for May to Halifax

For example: WW gives each ship a code

Aniara is ED207
Toledo is EA217

Add an A (BMW Code) to the beginning: AED207, AEA217

Then add either a 01 or 03 to the end (might have to try both): AED20701, AEA21703

I wonder why some of these IXs have a build date from December-2021? Is the build date incorrect (eg: vin lookup is wrong?) Or were there logistics issues holding up these builds in the port? Weird.

Fortunately you know the vessel code, so you can track the journey: https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/...mber=EF207-TOB
