10.25 Kyocera CID Coding for 2019 i3
Hi, as the title suggests, I bought a 10.25" Kyocera screen to replace my cracked 6.5" screen and it fits perfectly, but the screen says "No Signal" after several attempts to use Bimmercode and following a video for an older (2017) retrofit. I could not find similar DIY video for the Kyocera screen and wondered if someone knows what codes need to be changed for the screen to work properly.
I changed the following: - display size to 10.25 - resolution to 1240x480 - breites display variant But still have "No Signal" on the screen. |

Hi! Having exactly the same problem with 10.25" Kyocera screen on 2014 i3 when trying to make a retrofit from a 6.5" screen. Has anyone solved this and can share the info? Thanks in advance!

Hi! It’s impossible to switch the screen only on models that are older than 2018. The only way to do that, is to totally upgrade the whole system, head unit, screen, screen to unit cable, and I drive controller. The head unit must be preferably from a car that’s the same year as yours, and it needs to be coded to your car’s VIN number in order for the computer to recognize it! Sorry guys!
