How long will BMW NA continue to sell the I3?

BMW AG has said will live on through 2023. That made me feel confident that we would see the next bump in battery capacity. I hadn’t considered the possibility that BMW NA might decide to drop it before production ends in Germany. But, seeing how little attention the 2021 i3 launch has gotten, it almost looks like NA is waffling on it.

Anyone have information regarding the future for the i3 in the US including the next battery bump?

I can't imagine them cutting off NA sales early as long as people are buying them and the fleet CAFE credits are still required to sell M3s and other thirsty vehicles.
