Are there any other differences between the '14 and '15?

You mean other than the 4 cylinder engine and the bigger electric motor?

They only gave you 4 cylinders in your '15?

Yes, sometimes the lock doesn't work the first time. I've never had it not work after the 2nd or 3rd try, though, even if it didn't work at first. Also, I've not noticed whether the timing of when I first try to lock the door after shutting it is a determinative factor. Might be.

Did you see my post about how it seems you have to hit the top round part for lock only? That works pretty consistently for me.

Epirali, still works most of the time when I hit the top round part for lock only but not 100%. Doesn't bother me in the least, though. I'm still just loving this ride!!

More like comfort exit, needed.

I also was lucky enough to just sit in a spanking bran new i8 which was wicked, it was like if Apple made a sports car. The only real interior design flaw was that their were no well designed proper Grab Handles to help you get out of the car, they need to add them, otherwise it was all good.

All you do is use the door sill to push off of, only pain is you have to make sure the wheel is not extended out.
