Alternative i3 Charging on Lithium RV System

Hello I3 Owners - Here's an image of my alternate charging method when I need to add a few miles to my i3’s pack when traveling off the power grid. I recently upgraded this RV from flooded batteries to a state of the art 8 kw Lithionics lithium power system capable of even running the roof top air for 6-8 hours. If anyone is interested in lithium upgrades, I just completed a short video on my upgrade. I included a Youtube link below for my video.

Enjoy - Mike Mas

Beautiful setup, Mike! We just installed a removable 3kw lithium ion setup to the i3 & we’re loving the flexibility of it (including the cars new-found ability to trim its own charge when a few extra miles of range make be needed).

Theoretically you could just tow the car behind with it on, and it would regen charge itself until the battery was full and then disable regen (as it does whenever the battery is full) :P
