Better one with a 2-point sling, my personal choose as long as I need no 3 point into hot action. This is detailed for AR15.

Glad I found this thread! Looks like the mods are allowing pictures in this thread? If not, please let me know and I'll take these down asap.

I'm not a huge gun collector, but I like to buy some quality pieces from time to time.

Top pic shows my FS2000. Cut the barrel down to 16.5", added a Surefire muzzle brake, and threaded it for an eventual suppressor. *Also added an FN rail/Magpul angled grip, Neu-trigger setup, etc.

Second pic shows my FS2000 prior to the mods, along with my beloved Benelli M4. The M4 is simply the greatest gun a civi can own in my opinion. I put the adjustable stock and magazine tube extension on mine, while replacing the hammer, trigger, disconnector, follower, and forend with American made parts (Freedom Fighter Tactical) to make it 922(r) compliant. The thing just shakes the range every time I go, and always draws a crowd. I use a C-More red dot sight on it, and slug spitting out to 100yds is a blast!

Third pic is my latest addition, just got it on Monday and have already spent two trips to the range with it. HK P30SK, with the LEM trigger and tritium sights. What an incredible subcompact 9mm! I love all of my HK handguns, but this thing is a sweet carry piece! Put some Speer Gold Dot +P in there!

Academy had it cheaper too however I liked the guys I bought it from. They gave me great advice, I stayed there almost two hours with them and they gave me a discount on the course. So for $30 I'm not driving all the across the river.

Im not a real fan of bullpub rifles, but if one to buy then definitely the Steyr Aug, minimum recoil and very good aim results.

Steyr is what I've been eyeballing, but they're know to have quirks like a heavy trigger that fights back, awkward charging handle if you run an RDS, and a few other things. I think they're cool looking but would need more range time to justify the cost.

Question

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on this gunsafe? I'm picking up my daughter tomorrow from my Moms so I need to purchase a safe tonight. Non negotiable.

Cliff notes

Where I live is safe, secure, without going into where I live and why I feel that way, the main reason for the safe is solely to keep it out of the hands of my 3 yr old. She's an excellent climber and a dare devil and will monkey climb all the way up furniture with 2.5 seconds so just placing the gun up high, is not going to suffice. It needs to be locked away.

Ultimately price doesn't matter, because this is my child's life and safety we're talking about, that being said I also don't need a $5,000, 4 ft tall storage safe. Let's be realistic. It's one, small handgun.

My issue with the ones that require finger sequencing to unlock the safe, if there is a thread and adrenaline is pumping, immediate action is required, finger combinations could be stressful.
