My Wife saw the i8 commercial and asked me "is that to compete with the new Corvette?" So my opinion. At $136,000 for the i8, I'll get a C7, save $80K and spend that money on gasoline (for 457,000 miles). The only thing I'll not get is 2 rear seats that you can't even get in anyway. LOL.

Check out this one...
Go to Cars.com and SF BMW says they have an i8 for sale for only $141,450. But, if you actually go there, they will quote you a "fair and reasonable price" of only $710,000. Don't waste your time. Auh, nice try by them and good for a few laughs. Obviously fishing for ab eventual best offer and/or really want their two cars in the showroom for a while as traffic draws.
