I guess my question was what’s the difference b/w the terms “carbon fiber” and “CFRP”? Wikipedia says they mean the same thing: “(CFRP, CRP, CFRTP or often simply carbon fiber, carbon composite or even carbon)”

They are the same.
And yes 720S is a full carbon cell. So is P1. Other McLarens don't have a carbon roof. i8 coupe and i3 have full carbon cell too. Just the same. Astonishing and impressive. i8 Roadster is same as other McLarens. Lambos have only partial carbon cell, except Aventador. Ferrari only use carbon on LaFerrari and similar hyper models. All others have no carbon. |
