2023s

Any thoughts when 2023s will be available? My SA called me that they now have an allocation available so looking at 2month or so for delivery vs putting in a new order and holding fo a 23? Would hate to take in a 2022 so late into the year

thanks

I've sent a build for a 2023 and put in a deposit, but until they have allocations I don't think it's officially in the order pipeline except at the dealership level.

Thats the question, there is an allocation now...is it known when the allocations become 2023s? if it goes to build now I assume will be a 20202. Might be worth it wait 4-5 months and get a 23?

2023 builds

I spent a bit of time with 2 BMW dealers today - I have seen some documentation and had conversations, 2023 iX M60's wont start production until July/Aug of this year. (Unless you placed your order on bmwusa last year)

I posted this in another thread, but it's relevant here too: BMW do publish model update information on their BMW Press website. Here is the latest one affecting the iX: https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/globa...of-spring-2022

I was told yesterday that my existing 22 order was being converted to a 23, so I assume the cutover is coming soon (between now and my production date a month from now).

Could you share you exact production date and how your SA heard about your order being converted to a 2023? My production date is shown as Jun-24 and still shows as a 2022.

I started a thread yesterday because my ix went from
Scheduled for production to order received. Asked my SA, who said just as of this morning, they got note of a wave of models being transitioned to MY23, the IX included. My order was scheduled for 6/26.

Which status does your production show?

It shows “production begin” status for the online system. Dealer sent me a document that said “estimated production date 6/24/22”. Did you get any idea on when your 2023 will be built? ie is cutover starting in early Jul for US models? Any sense if they will honor pricing for 2022 or will be some price increase for 2023?

Seems the M60 is already considered a 2023 from 3/2022 production. I’ve seen a few price lists and online looks that show it only as a 2023.
