Like most media outlets, it's easier to enjoy them when you don't think you have to agree with everything they say and simply see it as another point of view.

I'd say it's actually a disadvantage to only consume media we agree with. It's creates an echo chamber rather than a valuable source of diverse ideas to help create informed opinions enriched by points of view we might not otherwise be exposed to.
