i8 Seatbelt Very Tight

The drivers side seatbelt keeps tightening up a lot as I drive around and I constantly have to adjust it to loosen it up a bit. Is there a fix or is this just how the seatbelt works on the i8?

Haven't had this problem. Are you noticing it tightening during heavy breaking or just normal driving?

I have been experiencing the same recently, at first I thought I had gained weight thus causing the discomfort as I find myself adjusting it very often

anyone else?

Not here. Do you drive on bumpy roads a lot, which my jiggle things tighter?

It happens during normal driving and sometimes when breaking. It happens on normal roads.

Probably a defective tensioner.

Yes, the same problem. If you don't use the seat slider, it's better.

Had BMW dealer take a look, said that nothing was wrong with the tensioner and if they replaced it the seatbelt would be tighter. You have to play around with the upper seat adjustment button to get it to loosen up.
