Charging cable came with 2021 i3

Hi fellow i3 owners, I have a question on the charging cable.

I leased a 2021 i3 rex recently. When I left the dealership, my sales agent put one charging cable into the trunk. Today I got a chance to look at the charging cable, and it turned out to be a used one. I don't care too much about the cable itself being used since I will mostly use a level 2 anyway. But I wonder whether it is the latest version so to be sure that the dealership won't have issue with it when the lease is up.

It certainly looks different from the 2021 X5 x45e cable which I have.

It looks slightly different from the one I got with my 2020 i3s in November, but, I have a Euro 230V type.

Mine has a yellow cable, here is no "i" logo on mine, and the grey stops just under the lower LED.
Mine is still in a plastic bag, I have a type 2 wallbox charger in my garage so I never use it, I just keep it in the frunk as an emergency charger.
I don't bring my type 2 cable with me either as most charging stations are DC fast chargers so I don't need to bring a cable.

The earlier years EVSEs delivered in the USA with BMW vehicles were 12A devices...they eventually changed that to a 10A one to help protect people from popping circuit breakers when the thing was in their garage and they say opened the garage door, which on a peak load, could add more than 3A load once you added in the lights, and who knows what else. Electrical code requires you derate the circuit to 80% of the maximum, and since most people have 15A breakers on things, 12A was the max, while dropping it to 10A had some merit.

I just bought a used 2017 from local BMW dealer and it came with that exact charger, so they just may have taken the new one and gave you an old used one - how shifty!

Thank you all for the very useful input. I ended up driving back to the dealer and asked for exchanging of the charger. They did it. The new charger is still in plastic bag, and it does have the yellow cable.
