i4 now has a big brother! We traded our beloved Land Rover today for a new iX.
It's really great…fast, fun, comfy and tech is great! [/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Awesome, I love it! You have the best of the best - i4 and iX. My dealer was delivering a dark grey iX M60 this morning. It was really sweet looking. If money wasn't an object for me, I would probably choose the iX over the i4 for the extra room and range.

You now have an i4 M50 AND an iX? Wow. All I got is a production number.

Thanks everyone! The iX is amazing, and while we have seen a white one, blue mountain ridge and phytonic blue...we never loved the iX, but it looks amazing all blacked out.

Funny, we went to negotiate on a new X6M and when we were leaving our long time (and fav) sales Mgr. said: look at this it came in today, and we just finished PDI! The black sapphire iX. We went home and he gave us numbers on the phone and seeing how everyone was flocking around it and taking pics at the dealer, we bought it.

SO wish our i4 had the digital key+ It is awesome and really makes the i4 feel "dated"

Speaking of i4....our BMW dealer in Calabasas has i4 on the lot and available.

We have 3 EVs now for our daily drivers, but we bought our son a 228i. It feels "comforting" having an ICE still Wish this wasn't the case, but gas/diesel still feels safe.

We tried and tried to talk him into an i3 (I have had two i3S and loved them), but he does not share the i3 love, LOL!

Yes, $10k over. Our other dealer, where I got my i4 M50 (Pacific in Glendale) is now up to $20k over Still seems "good" as the new Range Rover we looked at is $50k over. Pure greed and so awful.

These r some crazy times. Im waiting for recession to hit and stock market crashing to then walk in to those same dealers to ask if they still want mkt adjustment. Lol

LOL. But...I'd rather have these crazy prices than a recession and stock market crash, just for car prices to return to normal

I test drove this (iX M50) with 3 other people in the car, so my experience with it could be skewed.

I have owned both X5 and X6 (non M models), and this feels "boaty" and heavy. It does not hide its weight like the i4 M50 does.

Everything else about the car is right, tech, even the beaver look, but the driving experience does not fit my style. I initially wanted this over the i4, but then I drove this and there was no way.

Congratulations on the new IX. The look is growing on me, but there is no disputing it has good bones. If I can get lucky and find one locally that at a minimum fits my color requirements, I'll trade in the my x5. Unfortunately I need that to happen in the next couple of weeks or no tax credit. So probably won't have an ix in my stable.

How do you compare to the Rover? Esp with interior space?

And anyone know how the interior space of the IX compares to the Y/X Tesla?

I have had 5 full size Range Rovers, and LR4 and a Defender. The iX...you do not sit up in the Rover "command seating position" and the Rover ride is cushier, but the iX is amazing!!!

iX feels MUCH more open and is much roomier than the Model Y. I have never been in a Model X (but I hate the rear wing doors...all my friends say they rattle and the door handles never line up...too heavy and they are a gimmick).

Black is the best colour for the iX. I did briefly consider one, probably the nicest driving SUV on sale regardless of what’s powering it but the wife won’t drive anything that big so the biggest I can stretch to in a Q5 or Macan hence the reason I have a deposit down for the new EV Macan when it’s released.

100% We drove a Phytonic blue and have seen a few white and a Blue Mountain Ridge iX driving around....and not a big fan. The all blacked out one we got, is the first iX that we have loved!

Love the Macan!

The iX does not feel big driving it and we have the rear wheel steering, so this thing almost parks and turns like an i3
