I like Etron because it's electric, no need to stop at gas stations, no fluid changes, minimal maintenance. I like SQ8 because its a good looking performance SUV

I do need SUV. I am not sure how I feel about wagons aside from high performance ones.

As far as budget, less is better depends on the car. I was winning to pay around $70k for RAM Limited until I realized it's too big for daily driver

I'll take a look at Stelvio, but will most likely want Quadrofolio. And right now I started to put alot of miles......could be scary experience ))

Stelvio has to be larger then Macan though. As I said, I drove Macan for over a month and it's way too small for me.

Stelvio is between the Macan and X3 for sizing.

Used E-Trons seemed to have depreciated nicely, although not sure as to battery reliability/depletion.

Yeah, I just watched Stelvio review. Doug said suspension is super rough. I am in Boston, roads are pure shit here. My Cayenne on 19s rides too rough. If going with performance car in Boston, probably need air suspension

So are you looking for a performance SUV or just a general all around "luxury" SUV?

When I shop for cars, I always look for something interesting that will bring some smile to my face. I had S2000, then I jumped to M235i, then decided to try diesel because I always wanted one. So I am very open, but general luxury cars don't really intrest me....like X5, Q7, GL350, etc. I like SQ8 and at the same time I like RAM diesel ))

PS. Post is not really about helping me pick a car, it's just a rant on the cars I test drove.

Okay, got a better understanding now. You want to buy new? Because off the top of my head I can think of a few good, older models of certain cars that I think you may like. VW Touareg V10 TDI(diesel), X5 35d etc. But I'm guessing from what you've posted already you're looking at New or Certified Pre-Owned, strictly.

Gotcha, figured I'd help a little at least. Pretty good at finding the right car for people, I do it pretty frequently for those that I personally know.

I would prefer to buy slightly used under warranty, however I am looking at some new cars as well. Reliability is also important for me. I wish Defender was reliable....perfect fit for me.
