oh, I thought you meant the design of the B2 not the materials. The design is called a "flying wing" because among other things it lacks vertical stabilizers. The concept goes back to before the 1920's.

I live just up the road from Cardiff NY, home of the famous Cardiff Giant - gotta love this stuff. Apparently it only got MORE popular once it was acknowledged to be a fake, perhaps the yeti stuff will also go that way (not that I'm sure there isn't a yeti - just kind of doubt it would turn up this way).
