I took care of a heroine baby for for months two years ago. Watching him go through detox was hell.

All parents fuck up a lot, and end up explaining themselves to their kids often. I do it constantly. That's life and parenting, but I can't understand why anyone would do what those two are accused of.

This ain't a new thing, opiates have been misused by parents before our times too. I just read a book about wwII times and childcare and it made this article seem tame.
