Arrow Savage LSx Swapped E36 M3 Tears up the Streets (video)

Been getting a lot of requests for more videos of my car and I've upgraded some equipment since my last two I decided to get some GMWM3 madness in 4k

Enjoy!

Nice car, looks like fun. Though not sure 400whp is enough to be considered "savage" these days unless the car is 2000lbs.

Hmmm.... Not really what i would call tearing up the streets.

Little constructive critique from an average youtube viewer.

- Less pre-action drama. Unless you're telling a story or giving some details about the vehicle, less is more. Get to the meat of the video.

- Have meat in the video. Windshield mount, engine view while driving. Rear mount view while driving for more exhaust sound, etc...

- Lower music volume, more car exhaust. It's another way to communicate the existence of an engine swap.

- Put the hood on the car, raise it to show the engine swap, lower it for photos & videos. Although, credit due.... the only thing in this video to bring attention to the engine swap outside of the video title, is the fact that the car is driving (in a tame and uninterestingly manner) without a hood.

- Add a narrative to the video. Explain part of the process, even talking about the power differences V8 and I6. Mention the mods made to handle the added power, etc...

I like the drone effects, the smoke machine, going from slow to fast motion with the smoke. All cool stuff. Just need to cycle through it a little faster.

Takes 9 seconds before the car even shows up. Then we spend the next 30 seconds looking at the stock front bumper of an E36M3. There was more video time on the interior than on the engine swap. I think there is about 6 seconds worth of video focusing on the engine bay during the entire video.

Then the rest of the video was of the car driving down, not tearing up, the street in S FL.

I hope you don't take this as bashing. It's an honest critique and it may have been much different if the video title was different. Lots of potential. Hopefully you'll appreciate it more than "Nice Video, thanks for sharing."

2,800 lbs and over 400whp thank you, and it's enough of a handful to be considered savage in my mind but thanks for your opinion. I'll note the 400whp to sub 2,000lb savage category for future reference lol

Specially when I'm over 800 in a few weeks.

Hahaha thanks I think its money

and glad you asked....

walked a GTR at the track a few weeks ago.

Absolutely demolished a new Audi S3 too, but didn't think it was really worthy of posting video.

I don't have a youtube channel. Making interesting videos takes a lot of time and creative effort; time and effort I, and it seems you, are not willing to invest.

Sweet E36 though.

That's a nice build. I have an 05 GTO with the LS2 and an APS twin turbo kit in it. Never did any internals so I don't push the PSI and it makes 550 RWHP. Lots of fun and that car is mostly a sleeper. No one remembers them. I love the sound that engine makes.

Ahhhhhhh gotcha, It's not that I'm not willing to invest the effort, I'm not willing to invest the effort into other peoples ideas unless they are paying me.

I think you have some good ideas, that maybe you should invest your OWN time and effort in making that, but it seems that you are not willing...

Thank you.

Thanks man! oh nice! yeah the sounds and power delivery are awesome, but I can't wait for boost haha I'm probably going to stay low boost for the most part around 650/700. Also going to need a lot more rubber haha

Usually I would be you posting, telling people what they are doing on public roads is stupid. And I agree

But I think I did my stupidity safely ... if thats a thing. Everyone enjoys having fun in their car and I'm all for letting loose as long as you are responsible and no one is in danger. It's not like I'm drifting next to traffic or doing 100+mph.

Case in point I never broke the speed limit in any of my shots, I made "loose" U-turns with a little exaggeration and no one in front or behind. (Except the film car, which I own anyways)

A true indicator of someone's character is how they respond to constructive criticism.

okay

and I agree I came off douchey with that response, but I have a hard time taking criticism from someone who doesn't know the time and effort to create something like what I posted and instead goes.

"Not really what I would call tearing up the streets, heres what you should do...."

I am more likely to listen to someone who
1. has experience,
2. I respect their work.
3. starts off on a positive note rather than negative.

like this.

"great video maybe for your next one you could do .... and ... I would definitely watch that!"

It differentiates constructive from douche criticism, delivery is everything.
