as a super romantic guy, and the type that DID this, I agree with collins. You're setting yourself up for long term failure.

It will feel awesome in the moment, and she'll love you. And the next time when you do something similar...same deal she'll love you. But 5 years down the road, 10 years, 15 years....when you're too tired from working too much, or don't have the cash to do it, or shit ran out of ideas.
It will be at this moment in which you'll realize what you just did to yourself. She will judge it, she will get upset, and she will hold it against you. It won't matter WHAT you say at that point, she'll already have made up her mind that you don't love her 'like you used to'.

I personally wouldn't buy a girl lingerie for VDAY, if you are going to go through the trouble to be romantic and buy something for the girl you care about, buying lingerie that really isn't for her is kinda selfish.

ok well i just left her house....i lined the door way to her room with rose petals...i just dropped off some flowers at her work place, and then got another dozen flower for her home...i couldn't wrap the TV so i just put it on her bed...
