CA i8 No Carpool sticker? WTH?

Read on another thread that bmw didn't apply for the bmw i8 to qualify for the carpool sticker.. as a plug in hybrid it would have made it. I was really looking forward to this Has anyone tried? |

Not eligible. I researched this before delivery of my i8. California has changed its regulations. Only all electrics are eligible now.
