Had three different scotches last night (my neighbour came over and brought a bottle as well)

Had the:
- Ardbeg An Oa (dry nose, but pretty good, grows on you - different, but still has that recognizable Ardbeg character)
- Deanston Virgin Oak 2008 aged in Bordeaux casks (very different, but good with a splash of water. Basically 120 proof so needs a little water IMO)
- Glenfiddich Fire & Cane which is one of their experimental ones. I did not taste any smoke at all, mostly sweet, but not overly so. Also good.

I had PVR'd the junior hockey quarterfinals last night with Canada vs Finland to watch a very disappointing performance by the Canadians, who are now out. But the scotch was good at least.

Hope Costco still has it in stock and at that price if you're looking to pick some up. Good luck.
Thanks, good to know.

I like just a little peat but not really into what I consider heavy like a Taliskers or Bowmores.

I haven’t tried it yet, not sure I will. It may just sit there for emergency or guest.

I have a feeling it’ll be like Eagle Rare, pour a glass, take a couple drinks, pour it down the drain and never touch again. Didn’t like ER one bit.

Finally!! Although the liquor store guy said he felt this was "just ok" but was over-hyped because it's sponsored by some UFC dude. We'll see.

Score!
I heard similar remarks, but wrote them off as ‘haters’ and I’m glad I did.

Enjoy

Lol. Seriously! I’m a fairly seasoned bourbon drinker and consider myself open minded to try new spills but this Mcgregor $hit was absolute crap in a bottle. Tasted like rubbing alcohol - FYI I love Connor and I was born in Dublin, Ireland so I was hoping he hit a homerun with this but honestly it was disgusting. Don’t waste you money - seriously!

For $25, it’s hard to go wrong. Throw it in a Yeti with a Dr. Pepper and just sit on the porch and chillllll.

Each to his own. I like it. If you don't, don't buy another bottle. For $25, I'll be grabbing more. I don't consider buying anything I like a waste of money.

I usually pick a month here and there just go without. January just helps get my new fitness goals kicked off right usually.

Not sure why you felt obligated to be so ‘extra’ with stating your dislike for this. To say it’s shit is downright rubbish. We all know taste is subjective, but we don’t resort to this.

I’m glad there are people that don’t like it, more for us that do.

Enjoy the ones you like.
Cheers

Yep I'm same age and need to learn this a little better. I hate it getting in my way at gym and macros.
