Honestly this seems like a big middle finger to people waiting years for their high end RHD Tesla. Like serving someone rotten food and offering condiments to cover it up.
It is weird because it looks like a pretty high quality grabber, they clearly put some effort in. |

Is it April 1? Tesla customers have the lowest standards in the world. It must be said.

I spent around 2k miles in a friends model s and took an extended test drive of the y and X.
It was clear to me this was not the level of car I was looking for. Half an hour into test driving the IX I knew...hour later deposit paid. I Dont fancy enriching a businessmans coffers buy buying one of their undercooked products that have been marketed well by fanboys and shareholder's etc. |

The reality is, Tesla can't afford to make RHD and LHD versions of these cars. IMHO, they should not be allowed to sell them like that in countries where RHD is the norm. Giving a grabber to customers would be pathetic in a econobox, let alone cars at the price point of a Model X. |

Despite the over 50% fall from its peak days You must be rubbing your hands in glee...model 3 facelift around the corner surely stock will go up £££. I'm not very financially astute or just not brave or I'd buy etc. (Not the car)

I guess there is no actual law requiring that new cars actually be RHD in the UK(I did not look it up but how else could Tesla sell them there) and I'd wager that simply no-one else was dumb/desperate/cocky enough to do it given how many potential buyers it would turn away. As an example, Canada doesn't explicitly ban the sale of new RHD vehicles, but a couple provinces have restrictions on them apparently (Quebec has a registration ban and PEI has a full driving ban). |

Drove my Corvette that I had brought from the US to the UK for years. No problem getting it registered but very odd when going through toll booths, paying parking lot tickets and off course driving on the left side of the road next to the sidewalk
