It's Max's first ever pole at Spa and what a way to do it! Checo down in 7th but the good news is rammer Bot gets pushed to 13th with his grid penalty so he can play his havoc there in midfield. Shame that Ham still got 3rd with Vettel deserving that spot.

I hope they put George in a Mercedes soon. Max did a good job on the P1. Vettel was awesome.

Think Merc would make the move this season if the cars weren't due for such an overhaul.

Yes, props to Seb. Problem is race control can't know when someone is radioing for competitive advantage or providing an honest assessment. So much constant bs over the radio channels.

Max on pole. Evolving track did it for him. Russell was on FIRE!! Amazing Job.

HAM in strong position for a pass at the end of the Kemmel straight. as Philippe stated...Points are given on Sunday.

Of course tomorrow it really matters . But MAX knows that as well !
And let's keep in mind , HAM has to pass the Russell boy first ...

again with almost with full speed without even having a chance to slow down a crash happened.. i stated before.. run off area needs to be widen at least like 7-8 times than now.. if some tree needs to be chopped off, its sad but you can plant trees again but you cant plant lives...

Definitely, such a decent gesture. And he was right about the conditions. His warning should have been heeded by race control. Astute, then outraged about the crash, concerned for his fellow driver, everything you'd want out of an old world champion under the circumstances.
