Yeah, my friend said most people seemed to think it was a VW Jetta. Not much stage presence but an absolute DTM in sheeps clothing. Maybe a sleeper even.

I have always wished Audi would use their 2.5 I5 engine in more cars. I really think its one of their best current powertrains at the moment but they should be used on more than just the MQB platform vehicles which I am not a fan of (especially the TT-RS).

It's a wonderful engine for sure, but I wasn't impressed with it when test driving. It is pretty slow off the line and really only starts to come into its own as boost builds. That paired with a transmission that's not super quick, makes it a strange experience. I would not want to daily drive it (traffic, etc) since it feels gutless in the low rpm. But if I had a commute that was less congested, I would love to have a vehicle with the 5cyl.

5 more bhp in the specs and you can choose a mild body kit with ventilated front wings.

I can’t imagine someone putting those jammers in such a nice car but oh well. Nice to see you Erik. The people aren’t as uptight over here as the other place are they? They actually treat you like grown-ups. It’s nice. |

I've seen one Nardo on the way home, from work, one night driving across the Yolo Causeway.

Are you sure there are body kit options? I just loaded up the UK site to check the car out and the only exterior body option you have for the body is a carbon roof(besides plastic to carbon trim as well).

Looks like it got hit from the side and the front quarter panel is now gapped.

Someone on here said the new car is yet to be launched and I got those pics from official Audi literature so it is something for us to drool at before it becomes available when you order.

Or dinged when parked up somewhere, the wing can be easily panel beaten back into shape and the expensive front panel could be heat treated back into shape by an expert, then bolt loosened and patted back in with no gap.

Thanks Pat, I have found the ratio of meat heads to egg heads here refreshing as compared to mustang6g.com.

Never really cared for this car. Styling is very understated to say the least, and not very masculine. Interior design is barren. Haven't driven one though.
Meh.

I'd say it's a car for an enthusiast couple without kids or simply a single person with a passion for looking incognito then letting rip from the lights to show whose boss.

To finalise I would describe the car as a 'pocket rocket' much more upmarket from the boy racer VW R36, with the larger second hand RS4 as a tempting alternative though only in estate form.

Absolutely love the 2.5TFSI engine. Great stock, so much more when tuned, amazing as a built engine with some quality internals. It was such a treat in my TTRS, but I also don't know that I could stomach buying another Audi. The engine is so damn good but the handling is such a let down.
