Looks absolutely delicious, a bit out of my skill set but I'll give it a try. Well done.

Comparably speaking. It's one of those places you either love or hate...but a lot of the love is driven by those saying, "these are the best!". My wallet tends to influence me alot, that was a $12 burger

I'm still am happy with my unrefined love for these two establishments. I'm sure there are many like them over in the UK.

Five Guys was ok the first 2-3 times or so I ate there. I’m not a big fan of fried / cooktop burgers vs. cooking over a flame, although I manage to eat them when presented with one.

Beer Butt Chicken, I use Guinness beer (voted the best for BBC) but any liquid will do it.

1 hours at medium/hight indirect heat (meat temperature will be 180+ but super moist).

As usual Tiggie got her fair portion...

Love linguine and white clam sauce. Available almost everywhere on the east coast. Living in a food desert now and clams are nowhere to be found, in the grocery or on a menu.

I like this idea! How did it turn out? Open grill, or one of those copper mats?

Just the top rack, nothing fancy. They held together quite well. The coals were towards the end of their life. I made some wieners for lunch before I formed up the meatballs because I didn't want to really "cook" the meatballs. They just picked up a ton of flavor from the charcoal. They finished cooking in the soup and really added a ton of char flavor. My wife and I really liked it, but agreed it turned away from the brothy albondigas flavor... it's still there, but it's different.
I was worried about the raw rice in the meatballs hardening up on the grill and not cooking right in the soup, but that wasn't an issue.

Gypsy fish stew, I can't write it in English (jui-wet-chey)

Low carb'ish hence the cauliflower rice, it's not mama's recipe, I definitely changed it to cut corners and taste, fried tomato paste, 1 bottle of beer, 3 cans of V8 juice and lots of peppers and onions.

Haddock fillets, large shrimp and scallops in a mild to spicy 🌶 tomato sauce

notes: First meal I ever cooked my wife, she liked me because I had a mini pepper plant in my kitchen (reason for returning she claimed)

Needs a piece of crusty bread for sure but I'm cutting that for a while
