Hi folks, felt like it would be good to have an i4 UK thread as seems like we might be on slightly different timescales to others.

So what's the latest for everyone?

I was told back end of April, but I believe that's just a real rough guess.

Chased mine with dealer again yesterday (ordered August), they said they’re now waiting until 18th November for build slots after the launch, it’s a bit frustrating they can’t give an indication.

Gents, I am just about to order one as a company car and am being told delivery is Q1 - is that realistic?

I’ve never been given one - but never asked, it’s a lease order through BMW so not sure if they’d give it me?

Did you pre-order or are you just starting the process?

if you have not pre-ordered then it's probably going to be Q3 unless someone decided to get their money back and they have an empty slot.

There have been cancellations so the answer to your question is a solid maybe and we don't know.

I'm going off early pre-orders delivery in spring and people coming in now summer or later.

As far as exact ETA? Nah they need to look at all the build slots and do some optimizations based on colors and options.

Configuration for USA buyers isn't even up yet.

Are you based in the US? Not sure what differences there are though.

I do have an order number, will check with Genius when it's back up.

Ordered yesterday, 11/11/21 and was told Q2/3 build with handover pencilled in for 20/08/2022…

Nice, you went with 19”s I see, I did too but it’s the only choice I’m unsure about 😬 I don’t think I could sacrifice the range

The slary sacrifice car scheme at work makes this tempting but Q3 2022? Jaysus. I am not that patient

The 20's look amazing. But, I want a comfortable real 200 mile car and do not want to throw away the 50 miles range upgrading to the extra wide 20's looses.

Mine was ordered 6th June in the UK and I have an order number. I was originally quoted 30th December for delivery but have been told by my dealer that has been pushed back until at least February if not later on in 2022.

So while I think it looked like UK people were getting much earlier delivery estimates than everywhere else, that's not actually going to happen in reality.

I've been waiting all week for my dealer to confirm my delivery date but all I get is broken promises on I'll get back to you later today and nothing ever happens. Are there any decent dealers out there?

Ordered in August, told end of Jan, finally got an order number but "requested date" is end of June. Very unhappy with dealer as I know there are orders with confirmed dates before that. Strongly suspect they bumped me back (submitted it later after their q1 quota ran out) as I managed to negotiate a discount on price. Of course they know they can sell full price.

Yeah when I ordered in August I was being told delivery would be December maybe January - I’m expecting next summer
