Don't forget there is an income limit on the proposed bill. My view is that they should keep the income limit but eliminate the cap on vehicle price.

While people who pay 100k for a car typically could care less about the credit, it still provides an incentive to push someone in the EV direction. People who are willing to spend that kind of money on a car also were spending money on gas guzzler taxes for their big engine go fast cars. Fingers crossed that Canada helps the US understand this one. |

it's such an easy problem to fix that everyone on the internet found the loop hole, and yet shockingly BMW are still digging in their heels. drop the price, make m50 a package instead of a different model. problem solved

For now I do too, but looking down the line, If I wanted to purchase a used EV, lets say a used Taycan 4S, I'd "age" out of the program for AGI. I think they need to also adjust the used-car market EV on their end, otherwise it looks fine. The AGI should be a % based on region-specific salaries and not a standard cut-off across the board.
I just hope it stalls altogether for another year, just to get rid of the "unknowns" and know that I'd get the $7,500 tax credit

Do you happen to know the MF on that quote? Or the full breakdown?
You can normally qualify for base MF with a FICO Auto 8 score of 670 with BMWFS. |
