Sorry if this has been posted already, but today I downloaded BimmerFlow from the App Store and bought the full versions, and boy I was not disappointed!

I used the Carista OBD BT dongle ...

Garage List
2014 BMW  [0.00]
Your Battery Health is identical to mine. I only have 20k kms though. The Original owner charged to 100% every night...for 10k kms. 90x to 100%
I think this will balance out over the ownership of the vehicle though.

Well something strange is going on I think,
Cardata when I just received the car, 109kwh
Cardata just now, 102 kWh
So I lost 7kwh with not a lot of DC charging and not a lot to 100% ...
As mentioned in the other thread.
Maybe an update of BMW? Or the fact that I did not do a 0 to 100% charge since long?

The questiion is how much can we trust those numbers? Mine shows 95.4% battery health and there is 9800mi on the car. There is also range loss from 365 down to 345mi and neither one of those are the numbers claimed by BMW. Also it shows the battery capacity of 103kWh. The cardata that I got from BMW about a month ago showed 106kWh battery.
Some fuzzy math again.

Not an exact math calculation. Some people on the Mach E forum have seen the SOH go up after it had dropped a bit. I think close is good enough

My recent cardata and the app are very close, so I guess it makes sense …

But my 103kwh is 93.8% SOH …

103 is only down 2kWh from 105 which is official usable capacity. Not too bad. Again, I have no idea where those numbers come from. Can’t make that math to work.

It is generally availble for iOS. Just get it in the app store and pay $20 to unlock all features. I also have a Carista bluetooth dongle so I use it with the app.

I just took a look in bummer flow

My SOH is 97.8% after owning the car for 4 weeks and 2500 miles. A lot of fast charging since I drove it home from Florida to NY.

Says max energy content is 106kwh, amount of capacity available for use by the vehicle

Energy content gross- overall capacity of the battery is 107 kWh
