I do think that is a VERY interesting approach. As I understand what you said that if we could fix our abortions then it would naturally follow that our economy would be fixed. Then those that wish or insist on killing their children would be taxed at a higher rate to offset the massive tax burden in the future they are causing by killing their children.

We've just been through a 7 year battle of invitro, and trying to adopt with our son and his wife and finally through a catholic organization, they got their kid and there is no drug history, etc. We are in a good place but got lucky.

The costs are very high to adopt we know. And many parents want children that cannot access the networks as they are run by profit seeking attorneys. The fees are in the $40,000 range-no kidding. In vitro is similar-I wrote the checks.

This. I don't typically agree with irishbimmer, but he is spot on here. I am against abortion, however, until they make adoption far less cumbersome and onerous, they should hold off on any abortion restrictions. Our best friends are attempting to adopt, and the rules/regulations to adopt an American child are insane!
